The Aggs production

Yesterday on the second day of term 2 team 5 which is a group of year 7 and 8 children had gotten invited to the Aggs(Auckland girls grammar)  production. In the morning of the of the production we had watched a movie named footloose because that is what the act is going to be about. Some of the characters were boys which go to St Pauls which is near Aggs.Ms Telea the team leader of team 5 had announced that one of the clases had to share a buss with St Patricks. As we were about to leave Mrs Telea said wait let's do a prayer it was so that we are protected and that everything goes well.On the way to Aggs there was a lot of noise on the bus there was boys screaming and girls trying to get comfortable to sleep, and people looking out the window. We had finally arrived at Aggs me and the group of people that I was with had to get into 4 lines and we had gotten guided into the theater there was about 4 instructors which was very help ful. When we had entered the theater there was about 2 schools already in there , we had to wait until everyone was seated and so that the show could begin.’’ here's a tip when it goes dark don't be afraid just clap it manners ‘’ that's what is one thing that i learnt. The show was like you were teleported back into 1982 the backup dances were wearing bright colours and the main characters were wearing fancy rich clothes. There was a little break after the part that they had all beld down one of the boys from team 5 had stood up and said a thank you speech then my school had stood up and sang a Samoan song called Faafetai Iesu.I would like to thank the staff that had organised this and for the Aggs and St Paul student who took there time to do this for my school and show us what performing art is like.

Poster of my Mum (Taha challenge)

Today I did the taha challenge which was to make a poster of a family member so I made a poster of my mum. These are some facts about my mum about where she grew up and was raised.

Who would you travel to your home land with?

So if I had to go to Tonga the two people I would go with would have to be my mum and dad because I can't stay on my own without them.If I had a choice to pick one friend it would be my friend Hannah. Why do I pick Hannah it is because she is like me and she is from Tonga and I think she will survive.Hannah is good to travel to Tonga with because she is up to anything also that she isn't rude.Who would you travel with and why?

List of things I would pack to go to Tonga

Kio ria guys so today we are going to be travelling to Tonga and we need to pack some stuff.

Travelling to places in Auckland

Out of all of the Auckland places we got to choose out of (rangitoto, tane mahutah, karekare) is all of them
.

Rangitoto: Rangitoto is a volcano in new Zealand and it is extinct did you know that it is one of
the youngest volcanoes in newzealand. You have to go on a boat to get to the volcano. Rangitoto is
a good and sort of bad place to be next to or nearby (you may be saying why).Because someone
might fall down from the volcano but the good thing is that you can enjoy hiking up the volcano and
taking photos with the volcano but at the same time what if you need to get some food you have to go
all the way back.

Tane Mahutah: Tane mahutah is new Zealand's largest tree in Zealand. It is a great place
to travel or go on a trip to0.Why you may ask) because you can get some exercise and discover the
nature that you have been missing well you have been inside of your house.Tane mahuta tree has been
located in the northlands. As I was saying you can also go for  walk to go and see the tree well you are
having a nice walk through the nature.

Karekare:This is also another place in auckland that you can go to for a family event get some
exercise. If i would to go there i would go swimming or surfing.I enjoyed exploring this place you
can walk on the sand or beach or just get some exercise.(why I said it is good for family events is)
That you all can hangout and have a picnic.

Auckland city thing I would like to go too.

One of  my favourite activities I like to do is go to the sky tower because you can jump off the top of it.Also  there is a restaurant in there you can even look down you can see all of the buildings in Auckland city. Also another thing I would like to do or go to is to go across to davenport and have lunch because you can enjoy the boat ride on the way there.I would also like to go to the rainbow end why? Because three's rides and on the fear fall you don't know when you're going to drop.My favourite  ride is bumper carts.

Three interesting facts about new zealand people

This is part of the Easter learning journey. So one of the facts that
I have learnt about is called early voyagers. Over four hundred
years before Christopher Columbus and the rest of the Europeans
were feared. Falling off the edge of the world.Maori people
voyaged thousands of miles across the unknown pacific ocean. There
small ocean became the first inhabitants of aotearoa/new Zealand.

Backyard genius: Since sir Ernest ‘split’ the atom early in the twentieth century.
New Zealanders have started inventing and discovering thing. Some of these
inventions have been created in the backyard. While the Hamilton jet boat and
bungy jump are probably the most famous, kiwi invention.

Mate ship on the sporting field:

Rugby, football is one of the popular sports in New Zealand.
Why you may ask because the All Blacks have won the rugby world cup.
