Tuvaluan powerful words

 

This is a poster that I made , with some powerful words but I did translate some of them in Tuvalu , just because it was part of my task and because its Tuvalu Language week 2021.

ko wai o hoa (who are your friends ?)

 

Today I had te reo and we have been learning the phrase ko wai o hoa which transtlates into who are your friends ? . I am going to be doing the create task so that you can understand it more.

This week I have been working on these slides and I had to watch some youtube videos to remeber what a adverb was and things like that.

Today for literacy we did a fun and exciting new taskit was that we had to make a presentation about memes .Here are my four memes hope you enjoy .

Tongan song (ilonga ha taha)

 

This week is Tongan language week ,me and some of the classes in my grade are learning this Tongan hiva .Some of the children who dont know what the song is are practicing ,I already know the words for this hiva , its such a powerful song which adds God into it.

Toku whakapapa

 

This week for te reo Maori we have learnt our whakapapa's it was really easy thanks to my awesome teacher she had explained it very well on this slide is my whakapapa.

Today for inquiry my teacher Mr Moran allowed us to mock him in these fun memes it was so fun to see everyone's true colors come out .Next week I hope to do it again .The name of the task is called title it Wednesday.
