Immersion Assembly !
Yesterday was the first day of term 4 .I had to watch the assembly on my chrome book because Auckland New zealand , is still in level 3 lockdown .Every term we always have a different theme and topic .This term is term 4 the blast term isn't that gone fast , well the theme for this term is Ta Tatou korero , Ta tatou whirigna , which translates in english to our voice our choice.Every team leader and teachers either make a film or act out a play but since we are in lockdown we have to do it online .We start from the youngest team which is team 1 the year 1’s and 2 .
Team items
Starting off with Team 1 , they are going to be investigating what group they belong to and they are going to find ways on how they can be awesome members of that group.They are going to be kind to each other and fill others buckets of others including them.You can fill your bucket with happiness and other emotions.It's time for team 2 !
Team two is learning how to be responsible at home and in school by helping out your friends and family .Also they are learning how they can belong to groups like in a family,school,community and many more .How can you help in the community ? you can start scanning in with the covid QR scanner to keep track of where you're going.Next up Team 3 !
They are learning about sometimes what you want isn't what you need.Sometimes you don't know what you need ?.This term team 3 is going to be experiencing their wants and needs.what team is next ? Drumroll please for team 4 !, This term team 4 will be learning about their identity and where they belong in a group also what they need to do in that grouplike a family.You can belong in a family by being a sister,brother,cousin,aunty,uncle,and many more.Team 4 is trying to find out who are they and where do they belong.Now it’s time for the best team of them all Team 5 !! This term team five will be learning about not believing everything that is on social media and that they need to check if they are actually true.Also that Ta Tatou korero ta tatou kowhiringa is what team 5 teachers are letting us decide more often.
So this term is going to be a lot of fun. I cant wait and I love the theme, our voice, our choice thank you point English teachers and staff.
